Amanda’s expertise in adaptive reuse, preservation, and rehabilitation stems from a deep passion for historic structures. Amanda has a range of hands-on experience in the assessment and repair of historic and contemporary construction assemblies, including masonry, concrete, and windows. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is the current Chair of the Skyline Council of Landmarks Illinois, a member of the Association for Preservation Technology and the Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission. In her free time, Amanda enjoys working on repair projects at her 1906 home with her husband.
