Having graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, James learned the importance of community and accessibility in urban environments. His attraction to architecture began at a young age and was cemented upon entering the field as an intern with Studio GWA. Working in architecture and dipping into the field of urban planning has allowed him to connect person to place, and place to broader community. In his spare time, James likes to spend time with his two border collie mixes or find new music to indulge in!
