Makena Masterson, & Dylan Rivera Join Studio GWA

We are excited to announce our three newest team members. Brian Mork is a seasoned project manager and Makena Masterson and Dylan Rivera are the next generation of designers. We are thrilled to have them on our team and know they will help us achieve our vision of improving the quality of life through design.

Makena Masterson is a native of Northern Illinois and recently graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Interior Design. Makena spent last summer as an intern at SGWA and we’re excited that she has now joined us full-time. She’s passionate about creating impactful designs and helping communities thrive. And fun fact, she played ice hockey for 12 years!

Dylan Rivera already feels like family having been an intern with us since 2019. We’re excited to have him as a full-time designer since his graduation this year from Iowa State with a degree in architecture. He enjoys exploring walkable cities (read about his most impactful place in his bio) and getting his hands dirty in the wood shop.
