Makena’s passion for design began in a high school interior design class and further developed at Southern Illinois University. She’s excited to be able to create meaningful and beautiful designs that impact communities and help them thrive. Working in interior design and architecture, she can often be heard debating the durability of interior finishes. Outside of work, she enjoys a leisurely skate on the ice, having played hockey for 12 years.
